Adobe has posted an update for InDesign CS5 7.0.3 which fixes problems in the area of Document Handling, Export Graphics, Text, UI, PDF Export, and Architecture. The update is available at the Adobe website. It’s also available by choosing Updates from InDesign’s Help menu.

Have owned the CS5.0 suite for a long while but never needed to use InDesign. I've just been given an InDesign document and I cannot open it. Mar 01, 2017 I have recently upgraded to InDesign CS5 and Keep getting the pop up that I need to upgrade the plugins. It tells me that I need to upgrade the plug ins or upgrade InDesign, which is waht I have just done but the pop up is still there. Like Show 0 Likes. InDesign CS6 to CC 2015 users can install the plugin from Adobe Add-ons. InDesign CS5.5 to CC 2014 users can download the zxp file here and install it with Extension Manager. But in order to do this, you need to first find out which plug-in is outdated because plug-ins add to the functionality of a specific application they also expand the range of files, applications or document formats that web browsers can display so it is essential that you update them every now and then.
